A special fire regime in the Tver region was introduced because of citizens who ignore the requests of the regulatory authorities. This was announced on April 29 by Igor Rudenya on the air of the Russia-24 TV channel.

– There are people who do not hear our appeals and are trying to solve their economic issues in the wrong ways. For example, in order to simply pull out the grass, they set it on fire. Such a case was recorded just a week ago in one of the cemeteries. Instead of clearing a relative’s grave, people decided to set fire to the grass. As a result, the fire had to be extinguished throughout the cemetery. Once again, I appeal to the residents of the Tver region. We introduced a special fire-prevention regime until June 1 only because some of the citizens are trying to put things in order using the method sounded above, – said the head of the Upper Volga region.

Recall that the governor of the Tver region, Igor Rudenya, regularly addresses the population during the coronavirus pandemic. On April 29, he talks about what tasks set by the president will be implemented in the region. Also, questions will concern the May holidays, support for veterans, vaccinations and current statistics on COVID-19.
