The fourth aircraft EMERCOM of Russia with Rospotrebnadzor employees and equipment went from Saratov to Beirut to provide assistance to the victims of the explosion. This is reported in the press service of the department.
“On August 6 at 04:53, the Il-76 plane of the Russian Emergencies Ministry took off from the city of Saratov to Lebanon,” the press service said. As specified, there are 15 Rospotrebnadzor specialists on board the vessel and the corresponding equipment for deploying a laboratory to detect a new coronavirus.
On Wednesday evening, over 100 people were delivered to Beirut by the Emergencies Ministry planes. Among them were rescuers, including cynologists with dogs to search for people under the rubble, doctors and psychologists. Also, an autonomous airmobile hospital was delivered to Lebanon, which will begin to deploy at night. A total of five flights are planned.
