The first producer of Alla Pugacheva, Mikhail Plotkin, passed away at the age of 77. This was announced on Saturday, May 1 by his friend Khizri Baytaziev on his Instagram page.

Plotkin could not stand the consequences of the coronavirus infection, which he contracted in March, writes Gazeta.ru. According to Plotkin’s friend, composer Vladimir Evrezerov, after an illness the producer was very weak, and “no one would have given a guarantee” that he would survive.
Mikhail Plotkin was born on April 20, 1944 in Moscow. He graduated from the faculty of stage directors and mass performances of the State Institute of Theater Arts named after A. V. Lunacharsky. Later, Plotkin directed the vocal and instrumental ensembles “Merry Boys”, where Alla Pugacheva began her career.
