Doctor Evgeny Pomorov, who works with the youth team of the hockey club “Severstal”, saved the life of a passenger on the Vladivostok-Moscow flight, according to the official page of the hockey club on the VKontakte social network on February 3.
Pomorov flew together with the youth team “Severstal” – “Almaz”, the athletes were returning after a tour of the Far East.
One of the passengers became ill, she lost consciousness. Pomorov provided emergency medical assistance to the woman. The plane made an emergency landing in Nizhnevartovsk. After landing, the passenger was taken away by an ambulance, and the plane went to Moscow.
Earlier, in January, a doctor from Kemerovo, Vasily Zhdanov, told how he saved the life of a six-year-old child on an airplane flying over the Atlantic. The girl complained of pain in her leg, she was given a pentalgin pill, and soon she developed symptoms of anaphylactic shock. The doctor provided the girl with emergency medical care. He also thanked a doctor from Chelyabinsk who was on the same flight, and his wife for helping to save the child.
