The “Pearl of the Caucasus” train, launched as part of a program to develop railway tourism in Russia, arrives in the resort town of Essentuki at 10 am on Monday, May 3.
The Russian Railways cruise train left Moscow and arrived at Kavminvody via Novorossiysk. From Essentuki, he will go to Kislovodsk, and then to Grozny, Makhachkala, Derbent and, following through Volgograd, will return to Moscow.
The duration of the route is a week. During the day, tourists will walk around the cities where the train will make stops, and at night, while the train continues to move, they will rest. During the cruise, passengers will see the resort Kavminvody, the Caucasus mountains, visit the Black Sea and Caspian coasts, ride a motor ship along the Volga River.
The cost of tickets for the “Pearl of the Caucasus” cruise train starts at 6.2 thousand rubles (for a seat in the reserved seat). In May, its next flights are scheduled for the 8th, 15th and 22nd.
