A 57-year-old chemistry teacher pleaded guilty on Friday to sexual assault on a minor.
Heidi Hallstein, a teacher at Hudson High School in the US state of Ohio, was arrested last August after authorities learned of her sexual misconduct.
Portage County Sheriff David Doak said his team was made aware of the allegations on August 4, 2020.
The allegations against the woman allegedly occurred at her home in January 2017, reports the New York Post.
Heidi Hallstein has been released on bail by the time she receives her sentence. She has since resigned from her post. The woman had worked for the Town of Hudson School District since 1995.
No date has yet been set for his return to court.
