In the “Overheard, Novomoskovsk” group, parents report that the regional hospital has stopped carrying out planned operations for children, and with emergencies, young patients are sent to Tula.
“Today, February 8, my son and I went to the children’s hospital for a consultation with a surgeon, and it turns out that the children’s surgery department is being closed for some unknown reason (no one knows anything). They went to the emergency room: they brought a boy with appendicitis, they didn’t accept him and sent him to Tula. All planned operations were also canceled due to the closure of pediatric surgery “, – says the author of the title post.
“We also faced this when we arrived at the emergency room at night. We were greeted politely, and with guilty eyes they said – and we have no surgeons … One got sick, the second went somewhere far away for the funeral. The rest simply do not exist. But there were excellent doctors who loved their work and children. I say this because I happened to be both in the hospital and to visit urgently. Why don’t the doctors stay there? Because they are simply not paid. Only today, with surprise and even joy, I saw that the doctors who worked there a couple of years ago are going to Moscow for planned operations. It’s a shame that the district hospital was left without surgery. Scary for the children “ – says a local resident Zhanna Karpunina.
MK in Tula sent a request to the Ministry of Health of the Tula region with a request to comment on the situation.
