According to law enforcement officers, the accident occurred in the Barmrus Valley, located in the Passy commune, at about 12.40 Paris time (14.40 Moscow time). A 45-year-old woman fell from a peak 50 meters high.
According to the gendarmerie, the reason for the fall of the skier was the loss of balance when the snow cover melted. Doctors quickly arrived at the scene of the incident, but by that time the woman was already dead.
