Investigators organized a check into the death of a passenger on an airplane en route from Moscow to Perm. This was announced on Thursday, December 17, by the press service of the Ural Investigative Department for Transport of the Investigative Committee of Russia.
The 41-year-old passenger was traveling from Moscow to Perm on an S7 airline. During the flight, he felt unwell. Upon landing at the Perm airport at 3:56 am (01:56 Moscow time), the staff of the air terminal medical center, together with the doctors of the ambulance brigade, stated the death of the man.
“A procedural check has been organized on the fact of the death of a passenger on board the aircraft … Based on the results of the check, a procedural decision will be made,” the message says.
Employees of the Investigative Committee of Russia examined the scene of the incident, and are interviewing airport workers, medical personnel, and aircraft crew members. A forensic medical examination was appointed.
Earlier, on November 9, a passenger died on board the Simferopol-Domodedovo plane. The paramedic stated the death of the Muscovite at the airport of departure. The preliminary cause of her death was called a stroke.
