Russian Finance Minister Anton Siluanov said that there are all the necessary resources for the implementation of the initiatives voiced by Russian President Vladimir Putin in his message to the Federal Assembly.
“All the announced initiatives have been calculated, they have the necessary resources,” he said on April 21 on the air of the Russia 24 TV channel.
Siluanov also added that the new social initiatives of the Russian president will cost about 400 billion rubles in two years.
In addition, according to the head of the Ministry of Finance, budget spending on new social initiatives does not carry inflationary risks.
In particular, during the announcement of the message to the Federal Council, Putin said that from June 2021, children from 8 to 16 years old who grow up in single-parent families will be paid 5,650 rubles a month.
He also offered to pay monthly benefits to low-income pregnant women on average in the amount of 6350 rubles.
In addition, the president supported the initiative of the United Russia party to receive 100% of the amount of sick leave for a parent to care for a child under the age of 7, regardless of length of service.
