Several people were injured in an overturned car in Tovarkovo, Dzerzhinsky district, Kaluga region. As reported on Saturday, May 1, the press service of the regional Ministry of Emergency Situations, the car overturned after a collision with a pillar.
“On Saturday, May 1 at 07:11 Moscow time, the duty station received a message about an accident in the village of Tovarkovo. On Lenin Street, a VAZ 2111 car hit an obstacle (pole). There are victims,” the message says.
On social networks, eyewitnesses say that three people were taken to the hospital with various injuries, and one woman died on the spot. So far, there has been no official information about the victims.
Employees of the fire and rescue unit of the Federal Fire Service of the Russian Emergencies Ministry in the Kaluga Region, as well as a traffic police patrol, worked at the scene. To eliminate the consequences of the accident, a total of 13 people and 6 pieces of equipment were involved.
