Athletes from Sakhalin won in the “Two” category at the All-Russian Cheer Sport competition. To do this, they went to Perm. The details were given by the regional ministry of sports.
The island region was represented by six athletes. They performed in doubles. Arina Yun and Yana Krivobokova won gold in the chir-hip-hop-deuce discipline of Sakhalin. They were separated from their closest pursuers by 39 points. In addition to winning the competition, they received one more pleasant bonus – the “Master of Sports of the Russian Federation” standard.
Four more athletes became finalists in the Cheer Freestyle and Cheer Jazz disciplines – Ulyana Severina, Anna Kidakova, Alesya Sabirova and Polina Dubinina. At the same time, 40 female athletes from Sakhalin are part of the Russian national team in this sport.
Cheer sport championship was held in Perm. It was attended by a thousand athletes from 23 constituent entities of the Russian Federation.
