In Kholmsk, Sakhalin Oblast, a feed mill – Maoka is about to start working. Manufacturing is among the priority investment projects in the region. Farms of the region will be able to get acquainted with the product of the new enterprise already in October. In the meantime, compound feed is delivered to the islands from the mainland of Russia, and due to the short shelf life, Sakhalin animals have to eat not very high-quality feed mixtures. As a result, the properties of the products of our agricultural enterprises (milk, meat) also deteriorate.
Now this problem will be solved – the compound feed shop will acquire agricultural raw materials and process them on site. The expected annual output is up to 30 thousand tons of feed mixtures. First, the products will be supplied to farmers, and eventually – to the leading agricultural enterprises of the Sakhalin region. In addition, the new production will provide residents of Kholmsk with about fifty jobs.
