Rospotrebnadzor, Federal Air Transport Agency and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia by May 11 will present assessments of the possibility of restoring air traffic with a number of countries, taking into account the epidemiological situation in them, according to the May Decree telegram channel.
The Telegram channel published the corresponding order of the Deputy Prime Minister Tatyana Golikova.
“At the next meeting of the Operational Headquarters for the Fight against Coronavirus Infection, it was decided by May 11 to decide on the resumption of regular air traffic with a number of states where the incidence of COVID-19 is declining. These are most of the EU countries, the Dominican Republic, Israel, Mauritius, Morocco, Mexico and others, “the Telegram channel informs.
In addition, after the holidays, the government may increase the number of flights to the CIS countries, Egypt, Greece, and a number of other states, follows from the document.
“For some reason, India, burning from the coronavirus, appears on the list, where daily cases of infection are in the hundreds of thousands,” the post says.
Earlier, Russian Ambassador to Austria Dmitry Lyubinsky said that negotiations on the restoration of regular flights between the countries had begun in Vienna on the initiative of the Austrian side.
