The 50% refund program for children’s travel to health camps will be extended until the end of the year. This was announced on Tuesday, April 27, by the head of Rostourism Zarina Doguzova.
The launch of the compensation program for vouchers to children’s camps is scheduled for the 20th of May.
“The program will work until the end of the year so that children have access to rest both for summer and autumn holidays,” Doguzova said during a telephone conversation with reporters.
Parents will have the opportunity to purchase vouchers, within 5 days receiving 50% of the cost on the Mir bank card, the head of Rostourism explained.
All children’s health-improving stationary camps in the country are invited to participate in the project. Instructions on how to connect to the program have been sent out to potential participants, Doguzova added.
“The list of all partners who will join the program will be published on the website mirpotesthestviy.rf by the time the program starts,” she said, reports TASS.
The head of Rostourism also said that the department is preparing proposals to extend the tourist cashback program for the autumn-winter period until the end of the year.
Earlier on the same day, Rosturizm reported that a program to refund 50% of the cost of vouchers to children’s camps will be launched by the end of May.
In addition, it became known that the tourist cashback program was extended in Russia, another 4.7 million rubles will be allocated for it. Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin instructed Rosturizm and the Ministry of Finance to promptly prepare the necessary amendments to the rules for implementing the program.
Earlier, the Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Dmitry Chernyshenko said that the Russians, as part of the third stage of the tourist cashback program, purchased tours for 12.5 billion rubles. He clarified that almost 2.4 billion rubles were returned to them.
The tourist cashback program allows you to get 20% of the cost of a trip across Russia to the Mir card, which must be used to pay for the tour. The maximum cashback amount for one payment is 20 thousand rubles.
The first stage of the tourist cashback program was held at the end of August 2020. Then about 60 thousand people took advantage of it. The second phase began in mid-October. The third stage of the program started on March 18, 2021.
