Rospotrebnadzor registered an excess of the threshold for the incidence of acute respiratory viral infections in four constituent entities of Russia, according to the agency’s website.
As specified, in Russia in the ninth week of 2021, the weekly threshold for the incidence of ARVI in the total population was exceeded in four regions.
According to the ministry, in the age groups under 2 years old and from 3 to 6 years old, the exceeding of the weekly epidemic thresholds for the incidence of ARVI in the subjects was not revealed. Among children aged 7 to 14 years, there is an excess of epidemic thresholds in one subject of the country. At the same time, among people over 15 years old, weekly epidemic thresholds of morbidity were exceeded in 16 regions of the Russian Federation.
Rospotrebnadzor noted that during the ninth week of 2021, respiratory parainfluenza viruses, RS viruses and other viruses of non-influenza etiology are observed among circulating viruses.
