Rospotrebnadzor has withdrawn from circulation over three tons of bakery products that do not meet the standards. This was reported on April 15 on the agency’s website.

It is noted that in 2020 more than 70 thousand samples of bakery products were examined for microbiological, sanitary-chemical and physical-chemical indicators.

Studies have shown that in terms of the content of toxic elements, mycotoxins and pesticides, the proportion of samples of bakery products that do not meet the standards was 0.03%. The proportion of samples that do not meet the standards for the content of mold, yeast and pathogenic microorganisms was over 1.6%. In terms of moisture, consistency, acidity and crumb condition, slightly more than 2% of the samples did not meet the stated requirements.

On March 9, the head of the food hygiene supervision department of the Rospotrebnadzor Administration for the Moscow Region, Nadezhda Raeva, said that fresh herbs may not meet sanitary and chemical indicators, in addition, it has the ability to accumulate toxic elements coming from the soil. According to her, greens grown without observing safety rules in unequipped greenhouses can cause a number of diseases.
