Changing the Unified State Examination (USE) is possible only if the requirements and requests of society change. This was reported on February 16 by the press service of Rosobrnadzor.

The department noted that every year the USE is being improved and technologically developed. For example, from 2021, the computer science exam will take place on computers.

“Today, the USE is a high-tech exam that provides an objective and independent assessment of students’ knowledge, which has received good reviews from international experts. We see the transformation of the Unified State Exam only if the external requirements and demands of society change, “TASS quotes Igor Kruglinsky, head of the department for organizing and conducting state final certification of the department.

Kruglinsky noted that in relation to the exam, certain requirements have been developed. So, the exam meets federal state educational standards, the requirements of the university for the applicant and ensures the reliability of the results.

Also, the Unified State Exam, as noted in Rosobrnadzor, provides equal rights for all participants: all students write the exam in the same conditions, perform the same tasks and have the opportunity to enter any university, regardless of place of residence.

“Today, this is one of the deepest, multifaceted examinations in world practice, requiring erudition, creativity, creative thinking and the ability to solve non-standard tasks when completing tasks from participants,” Rosobrnadzor said.

On February 5, Rosobrnadzor presented the draft timetable for the Unified State Exam for 2021. The main examination period will begin on May 31st. In 2021, only those who plan to enter universities will take the Unified State Exam, the rest – only Russian and mathematics in their schools.
