The court sentenced two residents of Arkhangelsk who had previously been prosecuted for theft, one of whom was a minor at the time of the crime. They were found guilty of committing crimes under paragraphs. “A, d” Part 2 of Art. 161 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (robbery committed by a group of persons by prior conspiracy, with the use of violence and the threat of its use) and clause “d” of Part 3 of Art. 158 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (theft committed by a group of persons by prior conspiracy from a bank account).
On the night of May 16, 2019, at a house on Admiral Makarov Street in Arkhangelsk, drunken young people agreed to rob a previously unknown man. They hit the victim with at least 10 punches and kicks on the head, took two bank cards and demanded to issue a pin code from them. Then they dragged the victim to the store, where they paid for the goods in the amount of 870 rubles using his card, after which they cashed 7,100 rubles through an ATM.
During interrogation, the defendants admitted their guilt.
By a court verdict, the convict, who at the time of the atrocity was a minor, was given a two-year, two-month suspended sentence for cumulative crimes with the same probationary period. And the court appointed his accomplice three years and ten months in prison.
