On April 24, all municipalities of the Murmansk region will join the All-Russian subbotnik. In every city of the region, this day will become a bright holiday – in addition to actions for cleaning the territory, flash mobs, challenges and contests prepared by cultural institutions await northerners.
In Murmansk at 11.00 in front of the building of the Palace of Culture “Pervomaisky” a game program will begin, as well as a radio concert, where songs about Murmansk will be performed. At 14.00, activities within the framework of the ecological holiday will be organized on the porch of the Regional Palace of Culture and Folk Art named after CM. Kirov: the northerners are waiting for raffles of gifts, interactive playgrounds with an ecological focus, including master classes on making crafts from recycled materials, contests, challenges, quizzes, outdoor games. Everyone will also be able to visit the photo exhibition “Murmansk – Four Seasons” by Lyudmila Belozerova and get acquainted with the inhabitants of the zoo corner of the Palace of Culture.
Cola cultural institutions organize musical accompaniment in the cleaning areas. As part of the subbotnik, folk festivals will be organized in the city. Shops and arts and crafts exhibitions will open at noon. At 14 o’clock, the northerners will have a concert by the creative teams of the Kola Regional Cultural Center, as well as summing up the results of the competition for the best cleaning of the local area and awarding the winners.
In Severomorsk, preparations for the clean-up day began on April 15 – an environmental campaign “Severomorsk is a clean city!” Started in the naval capital. The participants held an environmental cleanup and cleaned up the area around the “Rocket” commemorative sign and the “Kosmachev’s Cannon” commemorative sign installed in honor of the artillery soldiers of the 221st Red Banner Battery of the Northern Fleet. On April 24, residents of the city are invited to join the bright program of the citywide clean-up – from 12.00 to 13.00 Safonovo will host a sports and game program “Come out, people, walk, play our games”, and from 16.00 to 17.30 – an entertainment game program for primary school graduates. Young northerners are also expected in the Aviagorodka people’s park on Primorskaya Square – a game program will be organized there from 12.00 to 13.00.
On April 24, the music school of Olenegorsk together with the Center for Culture and Leisure “Polar Star” are organizing an action # clean women. To participate, it is necessary to publish a creative video of the subbotnik with musical accompaniment on social networks with the hashtag # clean lady. On the same day in the “Molodezhny” public garden there will be a youth action-subbotnik #MyOlenegorsk. All townspeople are encouraged to join the cleaning of the territories and post photos from the cleanup on social networks with the hashtags #SamyMoyaMetuiYa and #ChistOlenegorsk. All photos marked with hashtags will be posted on the screen on the central square of Olenegorsk.
In addition, on this day the “CultCleaning: Relay of Purity” challenge starts, in which employees of libraries, houses of culture, music schools, museums and cultural centers will take part.
Recall that during the all-Russian subbotnik, residents of the region will be told about the conditions for participating in the popular vote for amenities. Recall that the northerners will be able to cast their vote from April 26 to May 30 on a single federal platform 51.gorodsreda.ru. Objects and projects in 12 municipalities of the Kola Polar Region have been put forward for voting: ZATO Aleksandrovsk and Severomorsk, Lovozero, Olenegorsk, Polyarnye Zorya, Kirovsk, Apatity, Monchegorsk, Kandalaksha, Murmansk, Kovdorsk District, Pechenga Municipal District. Every resident of the Murmansk region will be able to take part in the voting.
