Residents of the village of Velikaya Guba are still waiting for the opening of a pharmacy in the village. The situation became even more tense after information appeared in one of the regional media that after the intervention of the vice-speaker of the Legislative Assembly of Karelia the pharmacy was still opened. Residents came to buy the necessary medicines, but again stumbled upon closed doors.

Earlier, Minister of Health Mikhail Okhlopkov clarified that the opening of the pharmacy was postponed due to the delay in the licensing procedure. In particular, this was due to the changed norms of SanPiNs and problems with water quality. However, to reverse the situation, the company purchased special equipment, installed an ultraviolet lamp and chlorinated the water.
