According to the investigation, in 2020 in Miass, the 30-year-old accused met men, mostly homeless, under the pretext of sharing alcoholic beverages. After that, in uncrowded places, he struck the victims multiple blows on the head with a hammer, the website 360tv.ru writes.
During searches in the man’s apartment, a homemade pistol was also found, adapted to fire live ammunition, adds the REGNUM website. Psychological and psychiatric examination recognized the accused as sane.
The man will go to trial on charges of killing six people and illegal possession of firearms, specifies the website kp.ru.
The criminal case was sent to the prosecutor for confirmation of the indictment.
On April 26, in the Moscow region, a sentence was passed on a man accused of murdering a girl, robbery and stealing a car. The man was sentenced to 25 years in prison, he will spend 10 years in prison, the remaining 15 in a maximum security penal colony.
