“There are no casualties or injuries. Two people were rescued, 32 were evacuated, ”the message says.

The fire occurred in a hostel on Shchusev Street. The fire was reported to emergency services at 14:59. The fire was extinguished at 15:19. It was found that the fire occurred in the shared kitchen of the hostel.

Earlier that day, it became known that four people died in a fire in Petrozavodsk. The child, found alive, could not be reanimated. Three more victims are in the hospital. The Investigative Committee opened a criminal case into the incident.
