The Mayor of Ryazan again talked to the contractor and discussed with him the work schedule and plans for the next week.
At the moment, the structures are being dismantled and the beams are being jacked up. Work is progressing ahead of schedule. However, there is a slight lag in the removal of utilities from the construction area. The contractor promised to do everything by April 4. Work will continue next week as well. In addition, workers will begin repairing two more supports.
The contractor hopes that the renovation will be completed ahead of schedule if working 24/7. It is planned to carry out work at night, if this does not interfere with the residents of houses that are located nearby.
Sorokina also noted that modern building materials were purchased. She added that control over the reconstruction will be permanent. Residents of Ryazan can also monitor the progress of the repair, as there are online cameras on the bridge.
