It is impossible to spoil the already damaged relations between Russia and the United States. This was announced on Friday, November 20, by Russian President Vladimir Putin on the air of the Russia 1 TV channel.

“They are already spoiled,” the president said.

Earlier, on October 22, the representative of the Russian President Dmitry Peskov said that anti-Russian sentiments are characteristic of both parties in the United States, therefore, regardless of the victory of Democrats or Republicans in the elections, Washington will not leave Russophobic relations.

Putin is aware, he said, that treating Russia as an enemy presumably rests on a bipartisan approach to American politics. At the same time, this consensus in the United States, according to Peskov, complicates the situation in terms of improving further prospects on this issue.

On November 12, Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov predicted Joe Biden’s policy if he won the US elections. According to him, Biden, if he wins the presidential elections, will propose a policy similar to the one pursued by former United States President Barack Obama.

The US elections were held on November 3. The counting of votes is still ongoing, but Biden has already announced his victory.

According to Fox News, Biden received 306 electoral votes, while Trump received 232. The results have not yet been announced.
