War veterans will receive monetary compensation together with vouchers to the sanatorium. PSRM deputies registered a legislative initiative that allows veterans to receive cash payments if they are unable to go to a boarding house.
Current legislation provides that war veterans are entitled to a free treatment course in a sanatorium every three years.
According to the authors, this bill is necessary in a crisis that limits the ability of citizens to receive services in medical institutions, and also because, due to their old age, many veterans cannot take advantage of vouchers provided by the state.
The document will be considered in specialized commissions and sent to parliament for consideration. Then the government will have to adopt a regulation for the distribution of compensation.
