“While today all the requirements for protecting your health – for wearing masks, for unconditional hand washing, keeping them clean, using disinfectants for treating hands, various surfaces, for treating their premises, work or home, all this still remains,” she said. in an interview with the TV channel “Russia 24”.
According to Popova, further relaxation of restrictions imposed against the background of the spread of COVID-19 is possible by the summer, if the Russians continue to comply with all anti-epidemic measures.
The day before, the head of the clinical department of infectious pathology at the Central Research Institute of Epidemiology of Rospotrebnadzor Zhanna Ponezheva said that the incidence of coronavirus in the Russian Federation is decreasing and the situation with COVID-19 has become more stable. However, she noted that the epidemiological situation remains tense.
