Poland and Lithuania intend to involve Ukraine in coordinating relations between the European Union and Russia, said the head of the Polish Foreign Ministry Jacek Czaputovich.
During the meeting of the Ministers of Foreign Affairs of Poland, Lithuania and Ukraine, it was announced about the creation of a format of trilateral cooperation – the “Lublin Triangle”.
According to Chaputovich, during the talks in Ljubljana, the parties “agreed to coordinate their positions on the ongoing consideration of the rules governing EU relations with Russia.”
He noted that “close coordination of access to energy sources” is promising. The Polish minister stressed that the parties will strive to ensure that “none of them could become the object of successful blackmail.”
