“The situation with the coronavirus is still tense. More than 300 thousand patients are under observation, ”he said on the air of the TV channel“ Russia 1 ”.
According to Murashko, the extension of the May holidays is intended to contain the spread of COVID-19. The minister stressed that the formation of population immunity requires the production of antibodies in at least 69.8 million citizens of the country, reports Gazeta.ru.
Earlier on this day, it was reported that over the past day in Russia, 8697 people fell ill with coronavirus. Most cases of COVID-19 are in Moscow (2699), St. Petersburg (718) and the Moscow region (650).
