Russian specialists have conducted more than 111 million tests to detect COVID-19. This was reported on February 28 in the Stopkoronavirus.rf Telegram channel.

“Over the past day, 397 thousand tests for coronavirus were carried out,” the message said.

More than 565 thousand people remain under medical supervision in Russia by February 28, 2021.

So, on February 25, the mayor of the capital, Sergei Sobyanin, spoke about a steady decline in the incidence and allowed a number of restrictions on coronavirus to be relaxed in the next couple of months. The exemptions will also apply to persons over 65 years of age. He expressed the hope that the elderly will continue to actively vaccinate against this infection, and the situation with the pandemic will stabilize.

In early February, Sobyanin admitted that the main restrictions in Moscow could be lifted by May, if the trend towards improving the epidemiological situation in the city continues.
