Over the past 24 hours, 10,083 cases of coronavirus infection have been recorded in Russia, the operational headquarters for monitoring and controlling the spread of the disease reported on Sunday, March 14.
Most of the new cases were detected in Moscow (1905), followed by St. Petersburg (937), in third place – the Moscow region (605).
“395 deaths were recorded. During the day, 9,232 people have fully recovered in Russia, ”the message says.
In total, during the pandemic in Russia, 4 390 608 cases of COVID-19 were registered in 85 regions. For the entire period, 92,090 patients died, 3,995,129 people recovered.
Earlier in March, the representative of the World Health Organization in Russia Melita Vuinovich emphasized that the situation with COVID-19 in the Russian Federation has improved slightly. In her opinion, the Russian Federation is emerging from the pandemic with fewer shocks than many European states.
On March 5, Russian Deputy Prime Minister Tatyana Golikova announced a decrease in the incidence of COVID-19 in the country. According to her, the incidence rate is now 7.5 per 100 thousand people.
