A rehearsal of the Victory Parade will take place in Moscow on Tuesday, May 4. Military equipment headed towards Red Square.
Streets in the city center were blocked to organize preparatory activities. In particular, armored vehicles are moving along Tverskaya Street. There are also soldiers in uniform.
In connection with the rehearsal of the parade, the work of a number of metro stations in the capital is limited.
This will be the second rehearsal. The first night rehearsal of the parade in honor of the 76th anniversary of victory in the Great Patriotic War was held on Red Square on April 29. The number of the foot column exceeded 12 thousand soldiers. The mechanized column included more than 190 samples of military equipment.
The dress rehearsal is scheduled for May 7th. The center of the capital will be closed to traffic during the runs.
On April 27, on Red Square, a foot training was held with the crews of combat vehicles, which will take part in the Victory Parade on May 9. The rehearsals were attended by the commanders and driver-mechanics of all combat vehicles.
The day before, a dress rehearsal of the air part of the Victory Parade took place over Alabino.
On May 9, more than 12.5 thousand people will take part in the parade in honor of the 76th anniversary of victory in the Great Patriotic War, 190 models of equipment will march across Red Square, 76 aircraft and helicopters will be involved.
