Sour cream chocolate cake

Ingredients for the cake:

  • 2 cups of flour (you can also use about half a cup of semolina along with the flour to make the cake more healthy)
  • ½ cups of sugar
  • 1 cup of water
  • ¾ cups of sour cream
  • 1 ¼ teaspoon of salt
  • 1 teaspoon of vanilla
  • ½ teaspoon of baking powder
  • 2 eggs
  • 4 oz. of unsweetened chocolate, melted

Ingredients for the frosting:

  • ⅓ cups of butter
  • 3 oz. Unsweetened chocolate, melted
  • 3 cups of confectioners sugar
  • ½ cups of sour cream
  • 2 teaspoon of vanilla

Cake baking directions:

Preheat the oven to 176°C for 6 to 10 mins. Grease and flour a 13 inch x 9 inch oblong pan. You can also pick a round pan. The choice of the cake pan and it’s shape is completely on you. Pour the items into a mixing bowl. Mix this for half a minute on low speed, scraping the bowl constantly. Pour the mixture in the oblong pan and start baking.

Frosting directions:

Mix butter and chocolate thoroughly. Blend in sugar. Stir in sour cream and vanilla. Beat until smooth.
