Magadan will receive 500 million rubles for social and economic development. The funds will be allocated under the Stolitsa strategic program, developed on behalf of Governor Sergei Nosov.
According to the press service of the regional administration, the money will be spent on the development of transport infrastructure, preservation of the historical appearance of the city, construction and reconstruction of housing and communal services, development of its own brand, modernization of the sphere of handling MSW, development of the social and cultural sphere. The largest amount of funds in the amount of 208.1 million rubles is intended for the improvement of territories, writes IA MagadanMedia.
The Stolitsa program is funded from budgets of different levels. The main goals in the strategic document are the formation of a positive image of Magadan, the provision of the necessary conditions for holding events at the international, federal levels in the field of science, education, art, culture and sports.
“Our tasks are quite real. Money can be found, it will be more difficult to use it transparently and effectively. The main judges will be residents of the Magadan region, ”the governor said.
Earlier it was reported that a project to raise sunken ships in the waters of the Far Eastern Federal District will soon start in the Magadan Region. In total, about 580 sunken ships and ships were discovered in the Far Eastern Federal District, 235 of which must be raised and disposed of first. The Magadan Region will act as a pilot region, then the experience will be transferred to other regions.
