Two private houses, including one inhabited, were damaged as a result of the descent of soil in the village of Karaulova in the Nizhny Novgorod region. This was announced by the Telegram channel “Nizhny No. 1”.

According to REN TV, the owners of the dwellings are temporarily resettled in a maneuverable fund. Nobody was hurt in the incident. It is also reported that after the incident, residents of neighboring areas also hastily left their homes.

The head of the LSG of the Kstovsky municipal district, Andrei Chertkov, on his Instagram page, said that the rupture of the land happened very quickly, literally in a day. He also added that at the moment, experts are deciding how to help local residents and divert water from the area of ​​the incident.

It is also reported that the water and gas pipes are being inspected at the scene for damage and leaks. The head of the district added that the authorities are ready to provide temporary housing for residents of the affected houses.

On March 16, in the Separatorny microdistrict in Makhachkala, a landslide occurred due to the melting of heavy snowfalls on the mountainside. According to the regional department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, the landslide threatened nine residential buildings in which 45 people live, including 21 children. Russian President Vladimir Putin ordered the government and the Emergencies Ministry to help residents of the affected area.
