A group of employees of the National Medical Research Center of Traumatology and Orthopedics of the Ministry of Health of Russia visited Kalmykia in order to provide practical and methodological assistance to colleagues.
According to the relevant ministry, a group of employees of the National Medical Research Center of Traumatology and Orthopedics of the Ministry of Health of Russia, the curator of traumatology and orthopedics throughout the country, visited Elista. The delegation included the director of the institution, doctor of medical sciences, professor Rashid Tikhilov, his deputy for work with regions, doctor of medical sciences Igor Shubnyakov and head of the organizational and methodological department for work with regions, candidate of medical sciences Yevgeny Veber.
The goal of the specialists was to familiarize with the work of colleagues and provide practical and methodological assistance. In particular, they visited the trauma department of the Republican Hospital named after Petr Zhemchuev. Here they got acquainted with the case histories of patients, discussed problems with the head of the department, Oleg Boldyrev, the chief freelance traumatologist of the republic, and the first deputy minister of health of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Galina Dinkieva. It was confirmed that the Center will assist colleagues in advising patients on the use of telemedicine, as well as assist in the provision of modern equipment.
