The head of the Ukrainian delegation to the trilateral contact group on resolving the situation in Donbass, Leonid Kravchuk, said that during the extraordinary meeting of the subgroup in the TCG, for the first time in their history, Kiev’s proposals were taken for consideration.
“At the last meeting of the TCG, our document, the proposals of ORDLO (Separate areas of Donetsk and Luhansk regions) and Russia’s proposals were taken up for discussion. And, as I know, the Ukrainian document was adopted as a basis. This is the first time. And even the head of the TCG, the ambassador from the OSCE said that this is a historic event, “he said on the air of the Dom TV channel.
According to him, the working group is improving the Ukrainian initiative.
“If they come to some positive conclusion, we will discuss it at the general TCG on April 28 and adopt this document,” added Kravchuk.
