State Duma deputy from Sochi Konstantin Zatulin took part in the social action “From Heart to Heart” and donated 11 paintings to hospital No. 8 in Krasnaya Polyana. The authors of the works are pupils of the drawing class at the Sochi Art Museum named after Dmitry Zhilinsky.
According to the parliamentarian, children’s pictures will create a cozy atmosphere in the hospital, give doctors and patients a good mood.
“We consulted with Pyotr Khrisanov, director of our Sochi Art Museum, and felt that it was the Krasnopolyanskaya hospital, where people who had covid disease were being rehabilitated, should be given these children’s drawings,” said Konstantin Zatulin.
Little artists are from seven to nine years old. On their canvases, they depicted the sights of the resort – for example, the tower on Mount Akhun, the Bolshoi ice palace, the Sochi railway station. The guys decided to present such a gift to the doctors in gratitude for their work during the pandemic.
Marina Bralyuk, the head physician of the Krasnaya Polyana hospital, noted that the works look very professional, despite the young age of the authors. She said that both patients and staff are all happy with this decoration.
