Children and youths from 8 to 18 years old showed good driving skills.
The Donetsk Republican Center for Technical Creativity became the initiator and organizer of the karting competition, which took place on April 24 in Donetsk near the Shakhtar stadium.
The five combined teams included 29 pupils of karting sections from institutions of additional education in Donetsk, Horlivka, Debaltseve, Shakhtersk and Makeevka.
Participants aged 8 to 18 demonstrated a high level of sports and technical skills and virtuoso driving skills in the classes “Pioneer-N”, “Pioneer-B”, “Cadet”, “Popular-Yu”, “Popular”.
As a result of the competition, the winners were awarded diplomas of the DPR Ministry of Education and Science. Karting players who failed to climb the podium were awarded with Certificates of Participant in the Republican Open Karting Competition.
In the team championship, the first place was won by the UDO team “Donetsk Republican Center for Technical Creativity”, the 2nd place was taken by the team of the UDO Gorlovka City “Center for Technical Creativity”. And the third step went to the MUDO team “Miners’ station for young technicians”.
Recently, competitions for the Makeevka Cup were held among motorists and go-kart drivers.
