Kalmykia begins to modernize primary health care

In Kalmykia, a five-year program for modernizing the republic’s primary health care system has been adopted.

The program for the modernization of the primary health care system in Kalmykia in 2021-2025 was approved by the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation. The main objectives are to ensure the availability of quality health care for rural residents.

As early as next year, the republic will receive about 150 million to equip medical institutions for the provision of such services, according to a message posted on the website of the administration of the head of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

Funding for the program will be carried out within the framework of state support of the regions for the modernization of medical institutions in settlements with a population of up to 50 thousand people.
