The head of Chechnya, Ramzan Kadyrov, on Friday, January 8, said that he and the current US President Donald Trump are somewhat similar.

“Now Trump and I are somewhat similar: if earlier he blocked me on social networks, now the Almighty has restored justice, and as a result, the accounts of the rebellious Donald Trump are also blocked,” he wrote in his Telegram channel.

Kadyrov also noted that if the 45th President of the United States respected democracy and human rights, then nothing similar to the events in Washington would have happened.

The American leader’s account was blocked on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram after posting in which he called for calm.

Twitter called the removal of the last three publications of the American leader a condition for removing the block. Otherwise, representatives of the social network threatened to block the account forever. Trump complied with the requirement by removing the posts. He was able to make his first post on Twitter on January 7th.

On January 6, the US Congress was supposed to approve the results of the presidential election, according to which Democrat Joe Biden was elected the country’s new leader. However, the meeting was abruptly interrupted due to the fact that Trump supporters stormed the Capitol building and caused riots.

The Washington authorities had to impose a curfew due to protests, and the Pentagon allowed the National Guard to be used to ensure security in the Capitol building.

The next day, Chilean political scientist Francisco Coloane said that a “wave of hatred” against the Democratic Party was rising in the United States.
