“In light of recent events, I make the following short statement. First, I would like to thank everyone who gave me their support and dedication. I am embarrassed and moved by your many expressions of love and care, especially in the last few days, ”Depp said on Friday November 6th.
The actor explained that Warner Bros. asked him to give up the role of Grindelwald in the third part of “Fantastic Beasts”, and he treated this request with respect and agreed to fulfill it.
Depp also confirmed that he is going to challenge the decision, which was made by the court, calling it “surreal”.
“My determination remains strong and I intend to prove that the accusations against me are false. The current moment will not be decisive for my life and career, ”concluded the actor.
