The Astrakhan Technological College hosted a round table on the topic “Early vocational guidance for schoolchildren.” It took place as part of the business program of qualifying competitions for the right to participate in the finals of the IX National Championship “Young Professionals” (Worldskills Russia).
The participants discussed the implementation of the “Ticket to the Future” project in 2021, including possible options for cooperation between educational institutions and vocational education institutions on the issue of vocational guidance for schoolchildren and their professional self-determination. In addition, the experts shared their experience on projects already being implemented, such as “My first profession”, preparation of schoolchildren for participation in the junior line of WorldSkills Russia championships.
The participants of the round table also attended four professional tests in the competencies “Cookery”, “Fashion technologies”, “Restaurant service”, “Entrepreneurship”.
