Investigators began a pre-investigation check after the death of a person in the Moscow clinic “24/7”, reports TASS, citing sources on Tuesday, May 4.
The reason for the check was the information received by the Investigative Committee (IC) from Roszdravnadzor that a man who had suffered a stroke was hospitalized in the clinic without a license.
“As part of the investigative actions carried out earlier in the medical institution, violations were revealed, including the use of unlicensed drugs, as well as the lack of a license for operations,” the source said.
As a result, the Investigative Committee appointed a pre-investigation check on the facts of the provision of services that did not meet safety requirements and entailed the death of a person by negligence (Article 238 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation) and committing fraud (Article 159 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation).
Currently, the question of suspending the work of the clinic is being resolved.
Earlier, on April 26, it was reported that the head physician of one of the capital’s hospitals was fired after being bullied by an elderly patient by the nurses of the institution.
