In Yekaterinburg, a criminal case has been initiated into the beating of a transport police officer at the Koltsovo airport. This is stated in a message published on February 16 on the website of the Ural Investigative Department for Transport of the RF IC.

The incident took place on February 6. The passenger of the flight Moscow – Yekaterinburg, being intoxicated, refused to leave the plane.

“In connection with this, the transport police officers were summoned, who demanded to stop the illegal actions and follow them. However, the suspect hit the policeman in the face, ”the statement says.

A criminal case was initiated under Part 1 of Art. 318 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (“The use of violence, not dangerous to life or health, against a government official”). A forensic medical examination was appointed to determine the severity of the injuries.

In November 2020, a conflict occurred on Sakhalin between the commander of the crew of a military helicopter and a police officer. As a result, the verbal skirmish turned into a fight, and the serviceman hit the law enforcement officer on the head with his fist.
