Rospotrebnadzor registered an excess of the threshold for the incidence of acute respiratory viral infections in three constituent entities of Russia in terms of the total population, according to the agency’s website.
As noted, the weekly threshold for the incidence of acute respiratory viral infections was exceeded in three regions in the 12th week of 2021. Also, in one region, the weekly epidemic thresholds for the incidence of influenza and ARVI among children under the age of two years were exceeded. In another subject, there is an excess in the age groups from three to six years. Among minors between the ages of seven and 14, the epidemic thresholds were also exceeded in one Russian region. Among citizens over 15 years old, weekly epidemic thresholds of morbidity were exceeded in 11 regions of the country.
According to the ministry, in the 12th week of 2021, respiratory parainfluenza viruses, RS viruses and “other viruses of non-influenza etiology” are observed among the circulating viruses.
