Families with many children will be helped to purchase and insure cars. The decision was made on September 8 at a meeting of the government of the Tver region.
Igor Rudenya spoke in more detail about the initiative:
– We pay up to 1 million rubles for the purchase of a vehicle. Plus, we annually allocate money for insurance – no more than 60 thousand rubles a year. For transport tax – if the car’s capacity does not exceed 250 horsepower, then the family is exempt from paying it.
Families will be able to use the state’s assistance every five years. However, one of the conditions for granting a subsidy is not to sell the car for three years. Otherwise, the family will be obliged to return the funds.
The privilege will be available to families in which a fifth or subsequent child was born on January 1, 2019, parents registered in the Tver region for at least five years, have no convictions and have category B or D rights, and have a permanent job.
More than 48 million rubles have been allocated for the project.
