In the Georgievsky settlement of the Tuapse region, an emergency regime was introduced due to the collapse of a section of the road that led to the village of Anastasievka. The incident took place yesterday, April 21st. Long-term precipitation was named as the cause of the collapse, which led to the erosion of the ground.

The head of the regional department for civil defense and emergency situations, Igor Urbonavichus, said that part of the crossing over the Pshenakho River had collapsed. The place of the failure was fenced off, a reverse movement was also organized here and warning signs were posted. Reconstruction work has begun at the site.

An emergency regime was also introduced in the Oktyabrsky rural settlement. There is a danger of collapse of the road along the river bed, which leads to the village of Fourth Gunayka, – explained the press service of the regional administration. Local residents were advised to refrain from hiking in the mountains and to the floodplains of rivers during heavy rains.
