A 26-year-old Volkswagen Golf driver knocked down a 16-year-old and a 17-year-old guy, reports the site kp.ru with reference to the city traffic police.
The accident occurred at about 20:30 on Chernyshevsky Street, specifies RT. The details of what happened are being investigated.
Earlier on Friday, the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs reported that since the beginning of 2021, more than 150 road accidents (RTA) involving carsharing cars have occurred in Russia, in which eight people have died. 199 people were injured.
Earlier in April, the Ministry of Internal Affairs reported that in 2020, 145,073 (-11.7% by 2019) road accidents were registered on the roads of Russia, in which 16,152 (-4.9%) people died and 183,040 were injured (-13.2%).
The restrictive measures introduced due to coronavirus infection allowed to reduce the number of accidents in April and May last year, the department added.
