In Ryazan, 150 thousand rubles were stolen from the card of a 64-year-old pensioner. The regional department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs informs about it.
Ryazan police are investigating three cases of fraud, during which more than 170,000 rubles were lost from the cards of Ryazan residents.
150 thousand rubles were stolen from the card of a 64-year-old Ryazan pensioner. He said that he received a call from an “employee” of the bank’s security department and said that a hacker attack was taking place on his bank account. The man, frightened, followed the stranger’s instructions and transferred the money to a “reserve” account controlled by the fraudster.
The second victim was a 52-year-old resident of Ryazan. On the website of the purchase and sale, he decided to buy a phone and made a 100% advance payment, not making sure that the goods were received. Thus, the man was deceived for 17,500 rubles.
A 27-year-old young man fell for a similar scam. On the site of sale and purchase, a Ryazan resident looked at a sound amplifier for a car. More than 8 thousand rubles were stolen from his bank card.
Criminal cases have been initiated. The police identify the intruders.
